After Achernar took over the battery, band wanted to record new material ASAP. Grand Mandolin composed four new songs, which were more similar to each other than older stuff, so band decided to record them. Recordings started in April 2007 with drums. Other guitarist Argoth missed few rehearsals and didn’t have enough time and effort for the band so Grand Mandolin played all guitars. All instruments were played during the summer 2007 and the vocals at the end. Songs are the best Darcasis so far… Just wait for continue!

Reviews
Imperiumi web site 10.01.2007The expectations for this full length album were high. Band asked Ville Putkinen to record the songs. The recordings started in august 2005 with drum session. The drums for nine songs were recorded in two days including all previous promo songs. The basses, guitars and keyboards were recoded in Juva during the autumn all separately and perhaps too hasty for optimal result. Also vocals were recorded during the end of year 2005. The mixing phase was very difficult and time-consuming because of many different tracks and solutions. It took many discussions and compromises for the best result. Album was ready during autumn 2006. There weren’t any interest in labels we sent it so we decided to publish it in Mikseri.net for free…
Darcasis had three songs ready in spring 2003 so band thought it was time for first demo record. The members had one friend who could do the recording arrangement and mixing. The name of the buddy is Ville Putkinen. The place was Polytechnic school of Pirkanmaa, Virrat. The songs were recorded during one weekend in May 2003. Promo got good feedback in Mikseri.net but no interest in labels.
